Time keeps MARCHing on...right into April!

I’m going to try to play catch-up here. I just can’t figure out where the time goes! And for some reason when I uploaded these pictures, they got all out of order. But instead of spending an entire evening trying to rearrange them, I’m just going to add captions and hope that tells the story. Here is March and the beginning of April...

Shep loves his balance bike, maybe even more than Ryder did! He calls it “Blue” and runs right for it when he wants to ride.

But I don’t want to come inside!

Shep has discovered that he can push his stroller around by himself and then tip it over when he wants a low chair.

Katie, one of my best friends from FL, was in Blue Ridge for vacation so we got together at a playground one Sunday morning.

Shepherd absolutely looooves taking rides around the campground in Mr. Pete's green buggy. When he hears or sees it he yells, "Pete! Green! Ride!"

Ryder and Harper decided that instead of trying to play a spring sport this year, they would like to learn an instrument. Ryder chose the guitar and Harper the violin--but she makes it quite clear that she wants to learn the fiddle technique.

The kiddos loved their Easter scavenger hunt last year at Grandma and Grandpa's house, so this year I kicked it up a notch and created a hunt around the entire campground. They loved it and were able to decipher all 12 clues!

We had Easter dinner with Karen and Tony--ham, cheesy hashbrowns, fruit salad, and pies over a campfire. They also had baskets for the kiddos, which was super sweet. 😍 This year we discovered that Shepherd loves jelly beans, especially the green ones. It was adorable to hear him ask for a green jellybean because green sounds like mean..."mean bean".
