Say Cheese!

Today was our follow-up ultrasound since baby boy didn't completely cooperate at his last "photo shoot." Fortunately, the technician got all of the pictures she needed, but the little munchkin definitely made her work for them!  He would burrow down about as low as he could with his little butt up in the air; it really was adorable. To get the last few profile shots, I actually had to roll to my left side, then onto my back, then onto my right side, then repeat.  I did this series of exercises probably 3-4 times, and each time he would move opposite of wherever the technician wanted him to be for the best picture.  He has quite the stubborn personality already--all we could do was laugh!  After the ultrasound, we headed to the doctor's office for the scheduled monthly appointment.  We didn't even have to wait, which is highly unusual, and the doctor said everything with me and baby look absolutely perfect and right on track. It was a great afternoon, and we have some fun new pictures to share. Enjoy!

This last picture is probably my favorite.  It was taken at the point when the technician was saying, "Come on baby, move over this way." (She couldn't quite get all of him to fit into the picture).  And what was his response?  He put his little arm up to his chin as if he was in deep thought!  The technician laughed and typed the "I'll think about it" caption right onto the picture she printed out for us.  Hilarious!
