Although not at the same time, Ryder did both of these for the first time today! He has been smiling and cooing for weeks, but today his big grin turned into a "huh-huh" sounding chuckle. It was so adorable that Andrew and I started laughing, and that got Ryder to giggle a couple more times. Oh, I can't wait for a full-blown belly laugh out of him! :) Before bath time, Ryder was doing some "tummy time" on our bed. He does such a good job of holding his head up now for longer periods of time. Andrew had propped Ryder onto his elbows and was face to face with him, coaching him to "roll over". Whether it was a fluke or not, Ryder fidgeted a bit until he pulled one of his little knees in and lowered a shoulder, slowly tipping to one side. I stood in the background whining, "Nooo, my baby can't be old enough to roll over!"
It was a beautiful spring afternoon, so we took Ryder out for a stroll around the block to get some fresh air. How cute is he in a baseball hat???
"Fresh air makes me sleepy!"
"Where'd everybody go?"
wearing a bib that was an impulse buy--"Star of Mommy's Blog"
This is how he fell asleep after our walk.
