This weekend was Sun Fiesta in the park downtown. There was a parade, tons of vendor booths, and delicious food from local restaurants. We went down Saturday morning to walk around and see what it was all about. These pictures are compliments of Pops, who always has his camera with him when we are too lazy to get ours out!
Ryder's first funnel cake--a MUST at an outdoor festival :)
so thirsty! (like father, like daughter)
Harper really enjoyed riding in the backpack carrier.
hugging palm trees
Yes, more sugar! After lunch we went into an ice cream shop and Ryder chose the "superhero" ice cream.
Sunday evening we visited another playground that is right across the street from the beach. We had the playground to ourselves, so it was nice to let the kids just run/walk around as they pleased. Ryder climbed EVERYTHING, and Harper ate her weight in sand. :) We made it to the beach in time to watch the sunset and let Ryder find a few "seashelfs", as he calls them.
pulling weeds--what a helper!
trying to climb up the slide...
...and the spiral thing because Ryder did
